Despite his temperament, Jun is also kindhearted and brave, ready to go above and beyond to those who needs help, proven by his relentlessness to pursue Eda once he knows she was heading into a pirate trap. A man of prideful nature, Jun resents those who would speak ill of his faction, as well as swindlers and dishonest people - something far too common in the Valley. The former heir of the Yuan Clan, vassal of the Yinghai Nobles Jun was exiled for having brought disgrace and shame to his clan, and coursed to Thousand Peaks with his servant Kay in search of Lumen in order to restore honor to his Clan. This section contains characters prominent within the story of Opus: Echo of Starsong Eda had the six marks in her neck and was loosing her voice (which links to Terra having died by having his neck or throat pierced by 6 other gods (or ancient aliens) as seen by Jun in his vision. This page contains 3 articles: Main Characters, Side Characters and NPCs. EXACTLY, moreover, It is also implied that Eda is the rencarnation of Terra. If that's the case, his hallucinations would make way more sense. I think it's implied in one of the items (I forget which one) that Jun is the reincarnation of Helius. I find the whole concept of lumen to be heavily inspired by final fantasy VII especially things like lumen = lifestream, Eda = last descendant of Terra / Aerith = last Ancient. I'd like to think that Eda was one of the last of Terra's descendants afterall she was killed by what appeared to be 6 gods that may have cursed her bloodline which may have caused Ignis to burn them all in vengeance. I was kinda hoping Lumen had the power to transcend time in the physical sense not just in the emotional sense. It'd be interesting if instead of a single memory if lumine transfered a whole personality into someone's mind, but given the lack of documentation on lumine exposure other than "dont expose yourself or you might lose your mind" it's hard to say what lumine can and cannot do. Now whether or not the lore in the background about the gods is literal or metaphorical is up for debate. Secondly lumine "halucinations" dont seem to be just random hallucinations, they either exemplify memory OR give someone a perfect recount of history. you could suppose that enough resources were left salvagable from the ship crash but I doubt that gives her the months worth of resources needed to sustain a single person. The flowers subsist on lumine alone but a person needs at least water and food. There's a bunch of other stuff left open like how did eda survive long enough on the asteroid to plant the flowers THEN survive long enough to see them bloom. It's odd that lumen seems to have a will of it's own though since at times it is willing to guide characters. Him being drawn to Thousand Peaks by a sad voice and her hearing a sad call in her dreams, events displaced in time but inside the Lumen (somehow). Hell, it may even be the thing that got them togheter in the first place. I get the lumen somehow reunited them for a brief moment at the end. I believe we see Eda having a similar mark on her neck when we first meet her but it's never brought up or acknowledged in any way. The only detail/connection I found interesting is the story where a girl is sometimes born with 6 marks on her neck and slowly begins losing her voice.
